I recently had the pleasure of staying at Sottosoprasannio in Rome over Easter, and it was a delightful experience. Nestled in the vibrant San Giovanni area, the hotel is a mere stone's throw from the San Giovanni Metro Station, making it incredibly easy to navigate the city. I loved returning to our cosy room each evening, where the comfy bed provided the perfect sanctuary after a day of exploring. The shared kitchen and lounge area was a lovely touch, stocked with tea, coffee, and an array of breakfast goodies each morning. We really enjoyed unwinding there after our adventures among the bustling streets filled with traditional Roman restaurants just minutes away. The hosts were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, even sorting out a late check-in for us, which I truly appreciated. If you're looking for a charming stay close to the Colosseum and other landmarks, Sottosoprasannio is definitely worth considering. It offers a blend of comfort, convenience, and that local flair that makes any trip to Rome memorable.
